It already features Jinx and the city of Piltover. Riot was so impressed with the work that they asked Fortiche to make an animated series, which took several years to create. After the release of the first season, Riot announced that a second season was coming, and that it would take less time to produce. I watched it with my parents, who know nothing about the League universe. I’ve been playing League since 2010, so my opinion may be a little biased. But my parents were pleasantly surprised. They said that at times it was a little obvious that this series was aimed more at young adults. Some use of pop songs, and the villainy is a little over the top. I loved it! It was everything I hoped for and then some. Riot’s art department was always on its A-game. And based on Fortiche’s history, I knew this one had very little room to go wrong. Knowing Riot’s art department, it has an excellent story, well-written characters, and a rich world to draw elements from. Overall, this show fits together well.
